Description
The Fiat Panda is a small car from Fiat, the first series of which was built over four million times from 1980 to 2003. It is one of the brand’s most successful models. The car, characterized by its designer Giorgio Giugiaro as a household appliance on wheels, stood out due to its angular, smooth surface – the window panes were also flat. This design and a spartan interior made it possible to manufacture and offer the Panda at a particularly reasonable price (in Italy in 2000 for around 5,000 euros). E.g. the seats of covered tubular steel frames (first series and later base models) reminded of camping furniture.
