Description
The Fiat Talento (Type 280, 1981-1990 and Type 290, 1990-1994) is a light commercial vehicle that was produced by Sevel Süd from 1981 to 1994. It was available with different structures. It was identical to the Peugeot J5, Citroën C25, Alfa Romeo AR6 or the Talbot Express. The very short wheelbases were not sold as Ducato, but as Talento.
The Ducato I gave the impetus that a large number of Ducato-based motorhomes are still being produced today. Especially for this purpose, the Ducato is only available as a chassis including an engine (for integrated motorhomes) or with a cockpit, seats and front paneling, which, however, is open at the top and rear (for alcove vehicles). The Fiat Ducato I, like all identical vehicles, had a steering wheel gearshift instead of a conventional gear lever.
