The Peugeot 205 is a small car produced by the French car manufacturer Peugeot from 1983 to 1998. He succeeded the 104 series in 1983 and was replaced by the 206 series in October 1998.

After five years of development, Peugeot introduced its new brand face with the 205. With a total of 5,278,000 vehicles, it was a great success for Peugeot. The 205 received numerous awards in its first year: it was awarded the Golden Steering Wheel, it was Best Small Car and Car of the Year.
