Description
The Volvo 480 was a shooting brake variant of the previous 4 series from Volvo. The Volvo 480 was manufactured exclusively at the Dutch plant in Born (Limburg), which was later sold to Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. The design based on the design by the Dutchman John de Vries showed certain similarities in the rear area to the legendary Volvo P1800 ES from 1971.
In the production period from 1986 to 1995, a total of approximately 80,000 Volvo 480 vehicles were manufactured.
